BIOLOGICAL SAFETY CABINET Class III exhaust 100% of air in the cabinet.
RICO Biological safety cabinet class III is the most effective and most commonly used primary prevention tool in laboratories working with infectious agents. They act as primary obstacles to prevent the escape of biological aerosols in the laboratory environments. Organic safety cabinet class 3, usually only installed in maximum prevention laboratories, is specially designed to work with pathogenic agents, which provides maximum protection. Enclosures are gas-tight gloves which are connected to the front, prevent direct contact with dangerous materials (cabinet class III is sometimes called glove box). These custom-made cabinets are often enclosed in a row, and the built-in lab equipment is usually custom-made.
Biosafety cabinet Class III is a fully enclosed airy cabinet of gas-tight construction. Operations within the Class III cabinet are done through attached rubber gloves. When used, Class III cabinet is maintained through negative air pressure of at least 0.5 inch water gauge. Supply air has been prepared in the cabinet through the HEPA filter. The cabinet exhaust air is filtered by two HEPA filters, before the discharge out of the facility, is installed in the chain. The exhaust fan for class III cabinet is generally different from the exhaust fans of the ventilation system of the facility.
